At Smarties we offer a wide range of equipment and activities to suit individual children’s needs and support their learning and development goals. We carry out regular observations and assessments and use our findings to further promote each child’s learning and development.

All planning, activities and routines are linked to the Early years foundation stage framework or the EYFS.

Each child has their own development folder containing all observations and assessments, this is used by us to keep track of each child’s development, enabling us to offer support and challenges accordingly.
